The program will run from mid October to early March. Our regular program time will be each Saturday morning starting at 8:15 am at Malvern Arena. We will be on the ice for approximately 50 minutes. The girls are required to wear full hockey equipment including a neck guard and hockey skates.  (Note to new hockey parents - don't worry if you are confused about the equipment needs or have any questions, the coaching staff will be happy to assist you. All you need to do is ask.) The program offers great value at $199.00 per child for the season.

Each player receives a Little Sharks sweater/jersey and hockey socks. In addition, there will be a year end pizza party and a Little Sharks graduation ceremony and prizes.

Please note that although we will be working on basic skating skills continually throughout the year, this is not a learn to skate program. The only prerequisite for the program is that the girls must be able to skate/glide at least one width of the ice.

We are excited to announce that our Little Sharks program will be lead by Kelsey Kappel.  Kelsey has been with the ScarbSharks for several years as a player and has a coach. Kelsey also helped other “learn to skate” programs like Sharks and Canadian Olympian, Vicky Sunohara.

The program runs in a progressive fashion, starting with basic skating skills for the group; breaking the bigger group down into smaller groups so we can provide more focused help to each child; introducing basic hockey skills in a simple, fun fashion; and eventually working up to playing a full ice game at the end of the season.

ALL registration for Little Sharks must be complete online. If you cannot complete this process online, please Contact Us
