Sharks Opening Day, Calendar (Scarborough Sharks Girls Hockey Association)

Please join us on Saturday, October 26^st for our annual Scarborough Sharks Opening Day at Malvern Arena.  The day will begin with our Little Sharks program at 8:15am and will feature approximately 14 home games throughout the day.  Please see the Sharks web site at https://scarboroughsharks.com/Calendar/ as games are added to the schedule.

Over the course of the day players and fans will be able to purchase items such as hats, hoodies, t-shirts, etc. at our popular “Fan Table” in the lobby.  Youth S to Adult 2XL will be available. This year we will be offering a new teal t-shirt as well as Carhartt toques. We often sell out of items such as the hoodies and toques so have again ordered even more this year!  Cash and debit/credit cards will be accepted.

This year we will also be accepting gently used Sharks apparel that players have no doubt outgrown from previous years.  All apparel collected will be made available free of charge to our house league players later in the fall.  Clothing accepted will include jackets/vests, hoodies, and track suits (no t-shirts/jerseys etc.).  These should be Sharks apparel only (i.e. no OWHA provincial hoodies, etc.) so that we can maximize interest in the clothing at House League.  Please bring these items to the lobby at Malvern on the 26th and we will have volunteers ready to take those off your hands!

As in the past, all teams will receive post-game refreshments and a small gift from the Sharks.  A number of teams will also be adding to the festivities by selling baked goods, snacks, coffee, hot chocolate and other goodies to keep you warm in the stands (remember to bring cash for those tables!).
