All team staff members are required to complete a police check. Please follow the process outlined below to obtain one.
- Toronto Police Services has moved to an on-line submission and approval process for police checks located at: https://www.tps.to/police-checks . Please see a full explanation of this process for Sharks members located on the Sharks web site under the Link/League documentation Tab.
- Note the following for TPS:
- The Agency Code to complete your submission is: 202310TPSONE6B1A (please do not provide this code outside our organization – the code is specific to the Scarborough Sharks GHA)
- Ensure that when selecting the option for your submission you select volunteer option (not paid) for $26.72. The other volunteer options (requiring a letter) for free do NOT include a vulnerable sector check.
If you live outside the GTA you may instead require a volunteer confirmation letter for your local police division – if so, please contact Cathy Eberts: [email protected]
When you receive the results:
- Upload a copy of the form (PDF without password protection) to Hockey Canada (HC) which is integrated with our Association information on RAMP (instructions attached).
- When the police check has been accepted by HC, you will see a green check mark in the top left corner on your profile (may take a day or two)
- If you have difficulty finding your HC # to upload results, please check your registration profile on RAMP
