My name is Sean Uniacke and I am a father to two daughters, who both play for the Scarborough Sharks and a son who’s just starting out his hockey career. I started playing hockey at the age of 4 and continued to play hockey for the next 30 years including the SHA, MTHL, OPJHL and was drafted to the OHL Soo Greyhounds in 1998.
Hockey has always been a part of my upbringing, I believe in its ability to build confidence, resilience, and most of all enjoyment. I have had the pleasure of coaching my oldest daughters U11 DS team with the Scarborough sharks and look forward to continuing my coaching with the U11BB team.
The most important aspect is for our kids to come out and have fun on the ice, I want them to be able to continue to develop the skills they need for their long term hockey development and learn the skills that are needed to be a part of a successful team.
