What makes a great hockey experience? Why do some teams succeed year after year and why do certain coaches bring out the best in every player?
For over 33 years, I’ve been answering those questions by applying proven development methods that build hockey IQ, skating, puck skills, conditioning, and confidence. My focus is on meaningful game correction, effective practices, and long-term player growth.
My name is David Trombley, and I’m excited to be the Head Coach for the Scarborough Sharks U15BB team for the 2025–26 season. My coaching philosophy centers on fun, development, accountability, and personal growth.
I’m both a hockey parent and the owner of Hockey Extreme, a professional hockey school that has served the Scarborough and GTA community for 33 years. Over the past two seasons as Head Coach of the U13B Sharks, our teams have reached five finals, won two gold medals, and are currently ranked Top 7 in Ontario with more hockey to play.
